Simon Beck´s Sense of Snow

Simon Beck´s geometrical landscape artFrom the sunny beaches of California to the snowy mountains of Europe… In real life English Simon Beck is a cartographer, but the untouched Alpine scenery he found in the European mountains inspired him to start drawing with his feed. His magical works measure up to the size of three times a soccer pitch and take around 8 to 10 hours until his geometrical landscape art is stamped into the snow, just to come back the next morning to discover that the wind or fresh snow has vanished it all.

The inspiration comes from Tibetan Sand Mandalas, which respect ritualistic movements and require a very accurate line management.
